Located in Lexington KY, Paddle Stone offers the most affordable and flexible boarding care in the area. PSEC offers two stall barns, a 65X105 indoor arena with mirrors , lights and GGT fiber footing, a upper outdoor arena with River sand, a second large outdoor arena with GGT fiber footing, Grooming stalls with fans, cold wash area, onsite management so your horse NEVER gets snowed in without care, and more. We are not renters, so there is no worry if our lease will run out or if the owners will sell it out from under us. We host to approx. 25 boarded horses, yet are able to give each horse individual daily attention and care. A majority of our boarders attend UK and Midway. Boarding options all can be personalized based on your specific needs. We dedicate our days to making sure the horses have accessible food and water even in heavy winter storms. Our horses do spend most of the time outside as we believe it helps keep a horse happy and healthier. The property has cameras throughout and is well watched over.

FULL CARE with grooming stall $400
Full care horses are typically kept close to the front of the property near the barns. Fields are mostly plank with some electric in select areas. Most of our full care fields have 2-4 horses.
Horses are brought in as requested to await farrier or medical care. Blanket changes are done morning and evening upon request. We do not offer daily in and out care unless during a medical emergency. Our stalls are mostly used as a personal grooming and storage area and during emergencies.
All boarded horses are checked on daily. Blankets can be changed by request,as well as holding and scheduling for vet and farrier,. Full care horses will have burrs removed from manes and tails at least 3 times a month. Square Bales or round bales are required in all fields during winter months and will be billed to each boarder accordingly.
As most boarding facilities, we do require a 30-day notice (to start on the first of a month only) to cancel a contract and move your horse or to change your boarding option.

Pasture With Care Boarding: $380/Monthly
Pasture with care horses are mostly kept in the middle of the property. They are checked on twice daily. Waters are checked and filled as well as farm required amount of hay tossed daily in winter months at boarders cost. Grain can be fed as well and usage will be billed monthly. Fields are electric and plank, and some woven wire in certain pastures. Blankets are required and can be changed for dramatic temperature differences as needed. We can use blankets only for major snow/sleet if requested, but horses will need one as that is their protection from sleet/cold rain that could make them sick. Supplements can be fed daily as owner provides. Emergency stalling is billed daily as needed with camera access included .

Blankets are required and can be changed for dramatic temperature differences as needed. We can use blankets only for major snow/sleet/rain so horses will need one as that is their protection from sleet/cold rain that could make them sick. Self care fields are electric or planked in with a creek bed for water access. We do not recommend this for horses with shoes unless glued on . Self care horses are required to remain at a proper weight and to have attentive owners.
We toss farm required amount of hay daily and bill separately for the amount .
